“ My mom was visiting from out of town, and we usually do a new restaurant when she does, she was craving a burger and Wayback was in the top 3 for the Regent area. Very nice place, open space and modern. We ordered two Classic Burgers with fries and a poutine, fries were a 10, and the poutine an 8, a little more cheese curds and not quite the right gravy for it, but still tasty, mom loved the burger but mine was still raw on one patty, I ate half of it before I noticed, there were a few other customers so I waited for a quite moment and called the waitress over and showed her the burger, she was glad to help and took care of it, as much as it tasted great I was not going to push my luck on finishing it. They replaced the burger and packed it for me to go. Awesome service and staff. Unfortunately when I got home I took a look and again 1 patty was not cooked. I removed it and gave it to my dogs and finished the burger with their help. Great experience but they need to work on burger temps. Luckily I did not get sick but very risky. Will be back! They still get 4 stars for flavor and effort. Update Back today excellent classic burger with chili, very good chili, meat was cooked, super awesome ”
“ Quick service, hockey highlights were on tv, and the gent at the counter came and checked on my dining experience after I got my meal. Genuinely friendly and attentive. The burger was greasy and absolutely delicious. The fries were crispy and so good, I dipped them in the choptle mayo which made them even better. Highly recommend. One of the best burgers in the city, and I'm told the milkshakes are similarly outstanding. You can also order half n half fries and onion rings! ”

Wow, it was delicious. I had great food, a great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The meat is real, and you can taste the freshness. ”

Had my my first time there yesterday and got their version of a classic burger loaded with absolutely everything including jalapenos and mushrooms. I have to say, it was layered perfectly, meat was well cooked. The flavours were on point and the burger stayed together incredibly well considering the size and number of ingredients it contained. I was very impressed with the buns they use and burger was wrapped up nicely and intact when I pulled it out of the bag upon returning home. I also got the loaded bacon fries and loved the amount of toppings included. The burger was so good, I literally forgot to take a picture of it for this review. I now believe I am addicted and will be returning again today to explore other options on their menu. I love the fact it's so close to where I live.
